After a busy weeend, I was relaxing in the garden with a nice cup of tea when I heard a bird call that I didn't recognise. It was sat on top of a large cypress, where magpies or crows often sit. It was too far away to make out by eye, but I took a shot anyway. I'm very pleased that I did.
The light was fading, so this is at ISO1000, 1/800s, F5.6.

I decided to see if he would come back this evening. I onlyhad to wait about 5 minutes before he appeared. He sang from the top of the same tree for a few minutes before he flew off.
I took a few shots and decided to try the camera's "pro-capture" feature. I need a bit more practice at this!!!
