Today there were 5 cormorants on Mytchett Lake. There is ussually one there, and occasionally two. They normally just sit in a tree doing a bit of preening if they are feeling active.
Today was different. When I arrived there were five of them perched in two trees. They quickly started to fish groups of 2 or three. At one point, 4 of them were close together on the water.every now ang again, there would be a bit of a kerfuffle and I would snap away. They were 100-150 yards away, and I couldn't see the fish until I looked at the back of the camera.
