Visited Mytchett lake a couple of times after work this week in the hope photographing the large group of swans taking off at the same time. Unfortunately, the lazy sods just sit there looking serene.
I've discovered a tree with at least three heron nests, and possibly a lot more. So, I'm going to keep an eye out to see if I can get some good shots of them. Unlike the geese, the heron does not announce his intention to get airborne, so I keep missing them.
