Gosh, it's getting dark early!
I went out just after 2 o'clock and started taking photos at a quarter to three. It was overcast, and I didn't realise how little light there was. I have the camera set up to change ISO to accommodate changing light levels, so most of today's shots were useless! This was a terrible pity because there were more kites around than I have ever seen before. When I parked up, there were 5 or 6 kites flying around. very low, just behind the hedge at the side of the road. I think that they were feeding on some carion, but I couldn't see through the hedge.
